What is Outpatient Therapy?
Outpatient therapy focuses on assessing the needs of consumers that primarily present with severe and persistent mental illness, requiring additional supports to function. Services consist of brief
individual and group therapy sessions in an office setting. Outpatient therapy treats consumers based on level of functioning, individual need, and desire to change. This allows the consumer to collaborate with a therapist to explore treatment needs.
